- Passed or appearing in Class 12 from a recognised board
- Mandatory subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology & English
- No restriction on number of attempts
- Open to Indian, NRI, OCI, PIO & Foreign Nationals

Age Criteria
- Minimum age: 17 years on or before 31st December 2026
- No upper age limit — NMC removed the 25-year cap
- Born on or before 31 December 2009 (minimum age)

- Children of NRIs / State or Central Govt. employees posted abroad
- OCI and PIO card holders and their children
- IB, GCSE, AP curriculum students eligible
- Valid passport mandatory for NRI quota
