Who Can Submit an OMR Challenge?
Candidates should raise a challenge only if they find a genuine discrepancy:
- ✅ The recorded response differs from the answer actually marked on the physical OMR sheet
- ✅ Candidate details were captured incorrectly during scanning
- ✅ Discrepancy between scanned OMR image and the recorded response
⚠️ Note: This facility is only for OMR recording discrepancies. The answer key challenge process has already concluded.
How to Challenge Recorded Responses — 5 Steps
Login to Official NEET Portal
Visit neet.nta.nic.in and login using:
- Application Number
- Password
- Complete 2FA using OTP sent to registered mobile & email
Open the Challenge Portal
Click on "View / Challenge OMR Sheet & Recorded Responses" to see your high-resolution scanned OMR sheet and all responses captured by the scanning system.
Verify Every Response Carefully
Compare each recorded response with your actual OMR markings. Raise objections only if the recorded option differs from your marked response or if details were captured incorrectly.
Pay the Challenge Fee
Complete payment of ₹200 per response via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Fee is refundable if the challenge is verified as correct.
Submit & Download Acknowledgement
After successful payment, submit your challenge. Download the acknowledgement page and save the payment receipt for future reference.
Important Instructions for Candidates
- 📌Review your scanned OMR sheet carefully before submitting any challenge
- 📌Only completely darkened circles are considered valid responses by the scanner
- 📌Partial markings or stray marks may be interpreted incorrectly by the scanner
- 📌Overwriting or altering an OMR response is not permitted
- 📌Submitting manipulated or tampered OMR images may attract disciplinary action
- 📌Mark only one option for each question — multiple marks may be rejected
