NEET Overview

NEET – UG is the single examination conducted for the aspirant’s seeking admission in the country’s top medical colleges to courses such as MBBS and BDS. NEET – UG is the single entrance test for all medical colleges in India which includes the premier All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER).

NEET UG is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages.

As per the latest update NEET exam pattern 2021, there will be a total of 200 questions of which candidates need to answer 180 questions. The questions in the NEET exam pattern are divided into two sections – Section A and B. Section A contains 35 questions while Section B will have 15 questions. Of these 15 questions in Section B, candidates need to answer 10 questions. NEET exam will be of three-hour-long duration comprising of MCQs from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as per NEET syllabus. Four marks to be awarded for the correct answer, while one mark to be deducted for the wrong attempt.
