The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the notification for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Application Correction Window, giving candidates a final opportunity to rectify errors in their submitted application form. According to the public notice dated 20 November 2025
The correction window for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 will remain open from 01 December to 02 December 2025 (till 11:50 PM). Candidates are strongly advised to make the necessary corrections within this period, as NTA has clearly stated that no further opportunity for correction will be provided under any circumstances (Page 1)
The notice also emphasizes that students must verify their details by logging into the official website and make edits only if required.
Why the JEE Main 2026 Correction Window Is Important
Every year, thousands of students make unintentional mistakes during the application process—incorrect spelling of names, wrong category selection, mismatched documents, inaccurate exam city choices, and more. The correction period helps avoid potential issues during admit card release, exam day verification, and JoSAA counselling. Since this is a one-time correction, making accurate edits is crucial for a smooth admission process.
