NEET Counselling 2021 : MCC releases advisory for medical aspirants

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released an advisory for the medical aspirants to participate in the counselling session of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). As per the official notice released by MCC, aspirants are advised not to believe any fake agent and complete all the registrations and NEET 2021 choice filling process from the official website, mcc.nic.in.

MCC NEET 2021 counselling advisory

  • MCC will allot the MBBS/BDS seats on the basis of NEET-UG merit and choices of colleges filled by students.

  • After the NEET seat allotment, the shortlisted candidates have to download the allotment letters from the official website and students should beware of any letters issued by other sources.

  • Candidates should be cautious of the fake agents and must follow the regulations available on the MCC official website.

  • The password created while NEET counselling registration should not be shared with anyone.

  • In case of aspirant encounters with any fraudulent website or agent, they must contact MCC.

NEET UG 2021 counselling: Where to register?

Aspirants are advised to participate in the counselling of NEET-UG from the official website. Given below are the steps on how to register and fill choices for NEET 2021 seat allotment.

  • Visit the official website mcc.nic.in and click on the “new registration” tab.

  • Enter the asked details such as roll number, registration number, name, mother’s name, and date of birth as printed on their NEET 2021 scorecard.

  • Pay the NEET 2021 counselling online through a Credit/Debit card or internet banking.

  • Fill in the choice of course and give preferences to the college/institute. Please note that there is no limit to the number of choices a candidate can fill.

  • After entering the choices, candidates need to lock the choices before the mentioned date. If any candidate fails to do so, the choices will be locked automatically on the last date.

Through NEET 2021 counselling by MCC, admission will be for 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 100% seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS and JIPMER. The admission to the remaining 85% state quota seats and all seats in private universities will be done by respective counselling authorities.
