This decision for CBSE exam was taken in a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. The meeting was attended by Union Ministers of Home, Defence, Finance, Commerce, Information & Broadcasting, Petroleum, and Women & Child Development Ministries and Principal Secretary to PM, Cabinet Secretary & Secretaries of School Education & Higher Education Departments & other officials. Prime Minister Modi has directed officials to ensure that the Class 12 results should be prepared according to well-defined and time-bound criteria.
The safety, health and wellbeing of our students, teaching faculty and all stakeholders is our topmost priority and of paramount interest."
After the decision taken on CBSE Exam, CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) has also canceled the Class 12 board exams in view of COVID-19 situation. Result Compiling process isn’t declared.
