The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the examination schedule for the JEE Main 2025 April session. Aspiring engineering candidates can now access the detailed timetable and plan their preparation accordingly. The JEE Main 2025 April session is a crucial step for students aiming to secure admission to top engineering colleges across India, including NITs, IIITs, and other centrally funded technical institutions.

Examination Schedule of Session 2

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Examination was held from 22 January to 30 January. Now the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 (April Session) examination will be held in April month. NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Examination from 2 April to 9 April. The Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) will be held on 2 April, 3 April, 4 April, 7 April and 8 April. Except 8 April examination, the Paper 1 will be conducted in morning (First shift) and afternoon shift (second shift) while the Paper 1 examination on 8 April will be held in second shift only. The first shift examination will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift examination will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

 

Meanwhile, the Paper 2 (B.Arch./B.Planning) of JEE Main 2025 Session 2 examination will be held on 9 April only. The Paper 2 will be held only in first shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm.

Highest Registrations for JEE Main 2025 Exam

Over 16.35 lakh students have registered themselves for JEE Main 2025 Examination which is country’s largest engineering entrance exam. This application figure for JEE-Main 2025 exam is the highest application in the history of the JEE-Main.

Earlier 13.78 lakh students had applied for JEE-Main January session and more than 2 lakh 60 thousand new unique candidates have applied only for the April session exam. In such a situation, the number of students appearing in the April exam will be more than 12 lakh.
