NEET application form correction window has now been opened again on the demand of the students as the exam has been postponed to September. The candidates who made mistakes in the application form of NEET can edit the same within the specified dates.
NTA has asked candidates to submit clear photographs and signature for the NEET exam. The option to change the photograph and signature is open till July 15. Candidates who have registered for the NEETs can check their photograph and signature and change the same if required. For submitting it online, candidates have to scan the copies and then upload it on the official website of the NTA.
The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) per year to take admissions in the medical courses in India. The students are given the options to correct their application form if they had made any mistake initially or any change is inevitable. How to Correct NEET 2020 Application Form?
The students should follow step by step process very carefully to rectify the mistakes and make changes in the NEET 2020 correction form. The NTA has notified that some of the details cannot be edited further. These details include the mobile number and email id.
Following is the step-by-step process for NEET 2020 form correction:
The candidate will have to log in to the NEET 2020 application homepage
On the homepage, there will be a link named ‘Candidate Login’ on the left side of the page. The candidate must click on the link.
After that, the candidate has to log in using the Username and Password for NEET 2020 which was assigned to the candidate at the time of initial registration
After the NEET 2020 application correction portal opens, it will display a link saying ‘Click here for Correction in NEET (UG) 2020 Application’ click on that link
After clicking on the link, the NEET UG 2020 application form will display the sections which can be edited. The candidate has to choose according to his/her requirement.
After the details have been edited by the candidate, the candidate has to click on the ‘Submit’ button.
After that, the edited form has to be submitted
Important Points to Keep in Mind While Editing NEET 2020 Application Form
The candidates correcting or making changes in the application form must remember that if the candidate makes any mistake in the correction form, he/she will not be able to correct it any further. So it is advised that the students do their corrections with the utmost care and take ample amount of time.
The most common mistake people make is while uploading the photo. There are some set guidelines for the photos which are as follows:
The photo should be in a digital passport size format (png or jpg)
The photo should not be less than 20kb or greater than 200kb
Should be a colour photograph
Avoid dark background in the photograph
Must be photographed without goggles or caps
The background should be plain
The image should not be tilted or rotated
Candidates Not Eligible for NEET 2020 Form Correction
Some candidates are marked as not eligible for NEET 2020 form correction. Check the following points regarding the same:
- Students who have left the application incomplete and submitted it will not be allowed to make any corrections and will face rejection
Students who filled the form but did not pay the application fee will be rejected and they will not be allowed to make corrections in the form
Students who submit the form after the deadline will not be allowed to make changes in the form
Students whose transaction failed at the time of fee payment will also not be allowed to edit the form
In all the above-mentioned cases, the form will be refused and students will have to wait for the next year.
