Documents required for tamilnadu medical counselling 2021

All the candidates who will be shortlisted for the medical and dental counselling in Tamil Nadu will be able to find their call letters on the official website of state counselling of Tamil Nadu before the counselling session. Qualifying candidates will have to download the call letters from the website and furnish the same on the day of counselling.

The following documents are required to be furnished by the shortlisted candidates for the process of counselling in Tamil Nadu.

1.Date of Notification 19.12.2021.

2.Date of Commencement of online application 19.12.2021.

3 Last date for online submission of application 07.01.2022 upto 5:00 P.M.

Documents required for MBBS counselling in Tamil Nadu

Candidates are instructed to upload the following certificates while filling the online application form and submit.
i. NEET- UG 2021 Admit card and Score card.
ii. Class X Mark Sheet (both sides of Mark Sheet).
iii. Class XI Mark Sheet (both sides of Mark Sheet).
iv. H.S.C. Mark sheet (both sides of Mark Sheet) or any other equivalent examination.
v. Transfer certificate obtained after the completion of H.S.C. or equivalent courses.
vi. Certificate for proof of study from VI Std. to XII Std for the candidates who have studied completely in Tamil Nadu.
vii. Permanent Community Certificate.
viii. Nativity certificate.
ix. Birth Certificate of the Candidate.
x. Parent Documents need to be uploaded for the candidates who claim their native as Tamil Nadu as follows:-
a) SSLC / PUC / HSC Mark sheet
b) Transfer Certificate
c) Non-literate parents should produce First Graduate Certificate.
d) Community Certificate (Who claims communal reservation)
e) Aadhar Card / Driving Licence / Voter ID
f) Ration Card / Passport

Candidates are instructed to upload the following certificates while filling the online application form and submit.
xi. First Graduate Certificate (if applicable) as in Annexure XIII (a) and (b). The candidate who claim the benefit of a First Graduate should submit their certificate issued by the competent authority to their respective Colleges on securing the admission.
xii. Special Category Form with an additional fee of Rs.100/- via Bank payment portal with relevant certificates for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities, Eminent Sports Person and Ex-Servicemen, as applicable, along with the online application form should be uploaded.
xiii. Bonafide Certificate from Chief Education Officer is mandatory to the candidates who have studied VI Std. to XII Std in Tamil Nadu Government School for 7.5% Special Reservation as mentioned in Annexure -II.
xiv. Income Certificate of parent for the candidates claiming fee exemption.
xv. Eligibility Certificate obtained from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Guindy, Chennai for the candidates of other Universities / Boards(except State Board).

All the qualifying candidates will be able to download their call letters from the official website of state counselling for Tamil Nadu. They are advised to go through all the instructions mentioned in the call letters, thoroughly. Candidates must not bring along any smart phones or mobile phones during their counselling session. It is better to refer to the previous year’s  TN MBBS allotted list and shortlist the colleges before the counselling session. The candidates will be able to apply for the available seats for MBBS and BDS undergraduate courses only at the time of counselling. Candidates are suggested to check the admission fee or the tuition fee of respective colleges and furnish demand drafts of the same amount at the time of counselling.
