NEET Application Form 2022 – What to keep beforehand
Candidates must keep all the documents with themselves before filling out the NEET 2022 application form. It will reduce the chaos and confusion at the time of filling out the NEET application form.
Moreover, there will be fewer chances of making mistakes in the NEET application form. Aspirants must keep the sizes of the scanned copies of photographs and documents according to the requirements of the NEET application form 2022. If the scanned copies do not meet the requirements, it will prompt, and as a result, you will not be able to upload the documents.
Therefore, aspirants must keep the following documents beforehand for filling NEET application form 2022:
1. Valid Mobile Number
2. Valid Email Address
3. Class 10 details and Class 12 details (Mark sheet, certificate, roll number, school address, and other details)
4. Correct spelling of father’s and mother’s name
5. Aadhaar number
6. Class 12 Roll number issued by the Board/Election Card (EPIC No.), passport number, ration card number, bank account or any other valid Govt. identity number
7. Scanned images of passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression, Class 10 pass certificate and postcard size photograph
8. Credit/Debit card, Net Banking and UPI payment gateway details

Steps to fill the NEET Application Form 2022
The candidates must follow the steps thoroughly to fill the NEET application form 2022 correctly:
Step 1: Registration for NEET 2022
Candidates must visit the official website of NEET for the official NEET application form 2022. Then, click on new registration, submit your mobile number and email ID, and read the instructions carefully. Then, generate your password and keep your credential safe for future purposes as they will be required for logging in to the portal.
Step 2: Filling NEET application form 2022
After successfully registering on the portal, log in with your credentials. Click on the complete application form option to proceed further. The following details are asked and must be filled in correctly:
1. Name of the candidate
2. Mother’s and father’s name
3. Gender
4. Category
5. Date of birth
6. Nationality
7. Person with disability
8. Confirmation questions
9. Identification type and number
10. Medium of NEET 2022 question paper
11. Selection of exam centre city
12. Academic details
Recheck the details before submitting the NEET 2022 application form. Then, click on submit once you have filled in all these details after the confirmation.
Step 3: Uploading documents
Candidates must upload their documents after filling the NEET application form. The scanned copies of the following documents need to be uploaded:
1. Passport size photograph
2. Postcard size photograph
3. Left thumb impression
4. Class 10 mark sheet
5. Candidate’s signature

Step 4: NEET application payment
After uploading the documents, candidates must make the NEET 2022 application form payment by clicking on the pay examination fee option. The payment can be done online with valid Credit/Debit cards, Unified Payment Interface (UPI) or through net banking using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider. Candidates must keep the receipt as proof of payment with themselves.

Step 5: NEET application form printout
After successfully registering on the NEET 2022 portal, filling the application form, uploading the documents, and paying the fees, candidates must take out the print of the complete NEET 2022 application form. A confirmation is displayed on the screen as soon as the payment is completed. Therefore, keep a printout of the confirmation page as well. In addition, candidates must keep all the documents in hard copy, which will be needed in the future for verification.
Steps to edit NEET Application Form 2022
The candidates who have filled the NEET 2022 application form can edit their details by visiting the correction window. Students can edit the following details in the NEET application form 2022:
1. Personal details
2. Place of birth
3. Medium of question paper
4. Choice of exam city
5. Academic details of Class 10, 11 and 12
6. Permanent and correspondence address
7. Details of parents/guardians
8. Dress code
Moreover, students cannot edit their details, such as their registered email ID and mobile number. To edit the NEET application form 2022, students need to perform the following steps:
1. Click on the editing link provided on the website.
2. Enter the application number and password of the NEET 2022 application form.
3. Click on the correction option as shown on the portal.
4. A correction window will be shown. Students can edit the required details.
5. After the correction has been done, students must click on the preview and submit button.
6. An OTP will be sent to the candidates on their registered mobile numbers.
7. Enter the OTP and click the final submit tab.
8. A confirmation message will appear on the screen. Choose the option which you wish to opt for.
9. After submitting the corrections, the candidates will get a confirmation slip.
10. Candidates are required to keep a printout of this correction slip for future references.
EET 2022 Application Form Correction Window
It is important to note that once you have submitted your NEET 2022 application form, you cannot edit some details. This is why candidates are advised to go through the details they enter in the application form very carefully.
However, you are allowed to edit some details through online mode. NTA has made a provision of a Correction Window wherein you can log in and correct any details that you may have entered by mistake.
The dates for the correction window are announced by NTA, so candidates must keep a close watch on the official website for updates in this regard.
NEET 2022 Rejected Applications
The NEET officials may find the uploaded images or documents blurry in some cases or inconsistent with the guidelines. In this case, NTA informs the candidates through their registered email address or phone number.
When the correction window opens, you can make changes to details such as gender, category, date of birth, identification, language, state code, exam centre, and qualifying percentage, among other things. You may also be required to make additional payments for some fields.
In some cases, the application form may get rejected completely based on the inconsistencies in the form. Once you have submitted the form at this stage, you cannot make further changes.
